Vreeko is built so search can work for you without building a dossier about you.

What we don’t do

• We don’t require an account to search.
• We don’t store your search history tied to your identity.
• We don’t sell personal data or build advertising profiles.
• We don’t keep a lasting location profile on our servers.

Optional preferences (no account required)

Settings like Near me and Safe search are stored in your browser (local storage) and sent with each search only to apply that request. They are not used to create an account, track you across sessions on our servers, or personalize ads.

• Near me — soft-ranks results closer to a place you choose.
• Safe search — hides pages with strong profanity or adult URL signals when you turn it on.

What we may process

• Queries needed to return results (processed in memory / short-lived cache, not as a personal archive).
• Technical logs with a rotating daily client token for abuse investigation — not a permanent identity.
• Pages we crawl and index publicly available websites.

Privacy receipt

Each search response includes a privacy receipt stating whether a location preference was used and confirming that no personal profile or search history was accessed.
